Iberian Supercars: 2021-Present

Originally known as the Supercars Endurance Series, the Iberian Supercars championship is the latest series to take on the mantle of representing TCR competition in the region. Races are short endurance events (usually 45 minutes), with mandatory pit stops and the option of driver changes. A variety of cars are eligible to contest the series, though GT4 and TCR cars have been the primary focus.

While the GT4 field appears to have potential for growth, the TCR class has generally had fairly small fields; often lower in number than seen in the previous TCR Portugal and TCR Ibérico. Whether the series can begin to buck the trend of Iberian TCR events struggling remains to be seen, but if yet another series fails to find a market in the region you’d have to conclude there simply isn’t much interest in the category locally.

Note: Only results and stats for the TCR class are recorded here.
