TCR European Endurance: 2024-Present
Multiple regional touring car championships have also utilised the TCR regulations debuted by the TCR International Series in 2015, including the TCR European Endurance Series. These regulations provide a relatively accessible means of racing full-on customer tin-tops, with models available from a wide range of manufacturers.
Launched for the 2024 season, the TCR European Endurance Series is intended to be a longer-distance companion series to the already established TCR Europe. Plenty of endurance events around the world have featured TCR classes for years, so launching a dedicated series for this in the category’s most popular continent should have potential.
