FFSA Championnat de France Tourisme (TC France): 2021-Present

Run by the SRO Motorsports Group, better associated with GT competition, the FFSA Championnat de France Tourisme (also known as TC France) is the current national touring car series in France. Aimed at young drivers looking to build their careers and older amateurs alike, the championship features multiple classes of varying performance levels.

These classes largely consist of one-make cup cars from existing events being raced together; Clio Cup cars, MX-5 Cup cars, and several Peugeot one-make models have all contested the series so far. Additionally, a TCR class was formally introduced for the 2023 season.

The other headline class is the GT Light category, which unsurprisingly features lower-end GT cars. These cars tend to be of similar pace to the TCR entries, although are a less consistent presence on the grid.

Entry numbers tend to vary over the course of the season, with some rounds enjoying fields north of 30 cars while others struggle to hit 20. The popularity of the different classes varies too; at some rounds there will be no entries for certain classes, while others can have very healthy fields.

While not following the conventional approach of most national touring car championships at the moment, TC France successfully manages to ensure tin tops are well represented in France.

Note: All classes are included in the results for each season for the sake of completeness, however the GT Academy and GT Light categories are not included in the stats due to not being touring car classes.
