TCR Panama: 2025-Present

One of many national touring car championships to utilise the TCR regulations debuted by the TCR International Series in 2015, TCR Panama launched in 2025. These regulations provide a relatively accessible means of racing full-on customer tin-tops, with models available from a wide range of manufacturers.

A recent addition to the TCR landscape, TCR Panama might be niche but it has enjoyed a reasonably strong start to life. Its first season saw grids about the size you'd expect from a smaller national series - usually around ten cars - but most entries were with the newest and most competitive cars available.

The series hosts all of its rounds at the Autodromo Panama, a circuit which tends to produce some fairly exciting racing. While it might not receive the most attention of all the national TCR championships, TCR Panama represents the category well in Central America and contributes greatly to the global nature of the TCR regulations.
