TCR Brasil: 2023-Present

One of many national touring car championships to utilise the TCR regulations debuted by the TCR International Series in 2015, TCR Brasil was launched in 2023. These regulations provide a relatively accessible means of racing full-on customer tin-tops, with models available from a wide range of manufacturers.

Running primarily alongside the TCR South America series, TCR Brasil is effectively a series within a series. Aside from the odd standalone race, the majority of rounds are part of the TCR South America calendar. As such, most of what applies to TCR South America is also true here.

That means TCR Brasil benefits from the close-fought nature of TCR South America, with plenty of high quality entries and exciting racing. It would be good to see the series become a standalone championship eventually, but so far there hasn't been any sign of that.
